With 300 registered entries and a growing waiting list, the 2009 Rolex Fastnet Race is set to be one of the largest events of the season. Each participating boat will be provided with an OC Tracker so that their position can be followed on the Royal Ocean Racing Club website. OC Technology are working hard to make ready 300 trackers for the race, that begins on Sunday 9th August.

The 2009 race sees the participants taking the traditional 608nm route from Cowes, to the Fastnet Rock (south of Ireland) and finishing in Plymouth. This years edition involves many international teams and yachts up to a length of 100 feet. Follow all the action as it unfolds at http://fastnet.rorc.org/blog/race-information/tracking/index.html on the race player.
