The Bergen - Shetland - Bergen Race comprises of two Legs. The first from Bergen, Norway to Lerwick, Shetland and the other as the return journey. With an entry list of 50 boats this year it is proving to be a popular event for Scandinavian sailors.

There are two separate classes divided into fully crewed yachts and Double Handed yachts each racing for an overall prize. The crewed class is using the LYS rating system whilst the Double-Handed class using a standard IRC rating.

OC Technology has provied OC Trackers for each yacht for both legs of the race. This will enable the Race Organisers and members of the public to follow each yacht as they make their journey across the infamous North Sea. You can follow the progress of the fleet at www.shetland-race.no
