On June 16th the IMOCA 60 AVIVA left the startline off Ventnor on the Isle of Wight on their attempt of the Round Britain & Ireland record. The journey will encompass almost 2,500 nautical miles where the current outright record for a monohull stands at 7 days and 4 hours. The team finished the attempt in 6 days, 11 hours 30 minutes and 53 seconds making a new world record.
