Record hunter super maxi yacht ICAP Leopard 3 is fitted with an OC Tracker to track her course during the Heineken Cape to Bahia race, also known as South Atlantic Race. The Farr designed 100 foot super maxi yacht owned by Mike Slade will try to smash the record established in 2000 by the 75-foot American maxi Zephyrus with a time of 12 days 16 hours 49 minutes. Leopard3 is the current holder of many records including Transatlantic Speed Sailing record for a monohull yacht with power-assisted winches and Rolex Fastnet Race record.
