Four of the boats which have set sails from Les Sables d'Olonne on November 9th for the 6th edition of the Vendée Globe are fitted with an OC Tracker+.

OC Tracker+ is the wired version of OC Tracker, specifically designed for offshore race boat tracking.


OC Tracker + is wired to the power supply of the boat, what gives it an unlimited autonomy.
As OC Tracker, OC Tracker + is fitted with a GPS antenna which gets position of the boat, course over ground and speed over ground. But more, OC Tracker + is connected to the sailing instruments (through NMEA) and report data like boat heading and true wind (direction, speed and angle).

In addition to the tracking functionality, OC Tracker + gives shore teams crucial information to monitor and analyze the performance of a boat during a race.
