During the 2009 Rolex Fastnet Race, every boats will be fitted with OC Tracker, the self contained Iridium tracking device from OC Technology. The yachts will be tracked for the entire race with a position report from each boat every 30 minutes.

RORC's race office will have OC Technology's advanced administration system to help manage the race and the public will be able to view the race unfold on the specially developed race viewer.
