For its fortieth anniversary the Rolex Middle Sea Race will bring together a record number of 80 boats representing no less than 18 national flags ! This prestigious race, organised by the Royal Malta Yacht Club in association with the RORC, will take the entrants on a course of more than 600 nautical miles around the Sicily. The line of sight for the 80 crews is the course record of 47 hours 55 minutes established during the 2007 edition by George David (USA) on Rambler.

Repeating the last year experience, the race organisation has decided to fit the boats with OC Trackers which will enable the fleet to be followed around Sicily.
